I wanted to share with you a commission I was lucky enough to work on recently. I loved the idea behind this unique piece; it still makes me smile!

This sterling silver bangle was commissioned by a man who wanted to give a special gift to his wife, who has affectionate nicknames for their two daughters...barnacle and limpet!

I loved the whole process of making and delivering this piece, including receiving this delightful email (from the recipient) shortly after posting the bangle...

"Dear Jasmine,

I wanted to write and thank you for the utterly beautiful bracelet you made for me! My husband, George commissioned it from you (the limpet and barnacle for our two daughters) for my birthday.

I cannot thank you enough! You've done a beautiful job and I've already been receiving compliments on it today from my friends!

He's also showed me your note and the pictures of it being made (which I've copied and added to my daughters memory boxes) - it really is very special and something to treasure!
